Our classroom and conference room are available for rent at a reasonable rate for rent to individuals, professionals, and organizations. The space is perfect for classes, workshops, trainings, meetings, and other gatherings.

Our classroom is a multi-purpose room on the top (third) floor of the building accessed via a central staircase. There are wood-framed windows on either side of the room that let in natural light. The built-in bench running along the side of the room makes a perfect spot for people to sit and prepare for an activity. The space is ideal for movement classes and artsy workshops.

We provide a coffee, tea, and water service for $20 per day for classroom rentals and $12 per day for conference room rentals.

Event Advertisement and Tickets

No Cost

If your event is open to the public, we’ll post it on our events calendar and Facebook page to encourage sign-ups (unless you opt-out). If you want attendees to be able to register online, you also have the option of making tickets available online through our website. Journeys will process the payment for tickets purchased through the website and payout the organizer within three days of the event.

Requests outside of the normal available rental hours are approved at the discretion of Journeys.

Rental Rules

  • Deposits are due at least 7 days before the start of the event. If you’ve reserved the space on multiple days, the deposit is due at least 7 days before the first date in the series. The remaining balance for renting the space (less the deposit) is due at the end of the event. If you’ve reserved the space on multiple days, payments are due at the end of each event in the series.

    Payments can be made online using a credit card or in-person with cash or check.

  • We have a fourteen-day cancellation policy. If you cancel with more than fourteen days of notice, we will refund your deposit in full. Otherwise, your deposit will not be refunded. We do ask that you give us as much notice as possible when cancelling so another group has the opportunity to use the space.

  • Renters are welcome to bring food and drink as long as the space is left in a condition ready for use by the next event or renter.

    Alcohol is allowed. It is the responsibility of the renter to obey all applicable Oregon laws including proof of banquet permit and necessary insurance and the absolute prohibition of service to minors and intoxicated persons. Journeys is not liable for persons consuming alcoholic beverages.

  • Renters are allowed 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after each event to allow for set-up, clean-up, and changeover from one event to the next. Rental rates apply to the amount of time the space is reserved specifically for your event. In other words, you are not charged for the set-up and take-down time and do not need to include it when submitting a rental request.

  • Please do not use tacks, nails, or tape on the painted surfaces of walls. If there has been any damage to or loss of Journeys property attributable to you, the renter, are held responsible and agree to compensate Journeys for the cost of repair or replacement of the property.
