Treatment Approach

I believe in meeting people where they are with compassion – to be present and work in collaboration with my clients towards empowerment of the self and their relationship to the outside world. I endeavor to practice this compassion in all settings, including mental health practice, school, and the broader community.

Bio

I have worked in the human services field for over 10 years and have had the privilege to support individuals of all ages from diverse backgrounds. I have worked in different capacities throughout my career from case management to skills training and consultation. This experience has only continued to enhance my skills and knowledge as I move forward in my career and become an effective practitioner.

I am currently a MSW graduate student at Portland State University. I received a Bachelor of Arts from Oregon State University in 2007. I’m originally from Los Angeles, California but have lived long enough in Oregon to call it home. I have also lived in New York, which is where I met my husband of 18 years. I have two boys (ages 8 and 13), two dogs, and one cat. I enjoy the outdoors, reading, spending time with my family, and taking my dogs to the dog park.
