Kelly Egilske LPC, Intuitive Clairsentient
I have a deep, abiding faith in the potential of each human being and I approach therapy as a collaborative process.
Treatment Approach
I have a deep, abiding faith in the potential of each human being and I approach therapy as a collaborative process. I use a variety of effective, evidence-based modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma focused therapy. I also use the powerful tool of attachment theory to show how early life experiences influence relationships.
I believe that a person's diagnosis, symptoms, or life history does not define who they are as a human being. I believe in treating the whole person from a position of support, instilling hope, respect and dignity, to tackle the deeply rooted challenges that are often the source of significant emotional distress.
In addition to mental health counseling, I also offer readings and spiritual guidance. Spiritual guidance involves one person helping another to think about spiritual issues and concerns in an affirming, non-judgmental, and nurturing way.
Spirituality can be defined as “the way individuals seek and express meaning and purpose and the way they experience their connectedness to the moment, to self, to others, to nature, and to the significant or sacred.” [NIH] It is about asking questions like “What has my life meant?” and “What is my purpose?”
If you are at a time in your life when you’re recognizing your spiritual needs and looking for spiritual resources, then you may benefit from spiritual guidance.

Bio
Who I am as a person is deeply connected to the work I do. I see my life as a mission to help others see themselves in their original beauty, to learn the truth about who they are so they can be set free, to assist them in opening to their own unique destiny, and to work through beliefs and behaviors that keep them trapped in old ways of being.
This is work I have had to do on myself, and still continue to do. Healing takes courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it.
