Merri Bath-McDonaldProfessional Counselor Associate

My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your inner world, understand the roots of your challenges, and reconnect with your capacity for growth.

Treatment Approach

As a therapist, I offer an integrative, client-centered approach drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered theory, mindfulness, and somatic techniques. I tailor our work to your individual needs, strengths, and goals.

I believe healing happens through safety, trust, and connection. My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, understand underlying patterns, and build new ways of coping. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, resilience, and a more grounded sense of self.

About

I’ve always felt called to support others in their healing. My career began in school counseling, where I spent over 15 years working with adolescents and young adults through important life transitions.

In 2024, I expanded my work to include therapy for adults, which has been a meaningful next step in my path. I bring both professional experience and personal insight into the therapeutic process, with a focus on growth, connection, and lasting change.

Outside of my work, I’m a mother, wife, and artist. Nature plays an important role in my life and continues to shape how I show up—with presence, curiosity, and compassion.
