My practice foundations are in cognitive behavioral therapy, and other solution-focused interventions.
I have trained under Steven Rollnick, a co-founder of Motivational Interviewing – the current therapeutic standard for treating substance use disorders and other addictions. I also use EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) psychotherapy to assist clients experiencing the emotional and physical impacts of traumatic life events.
I believe each individual brings strengths in addition to difficulties when entering therapy. I can help harness these assets for progress and growth.
