Grief Support Group
Have you lost a person, or animal in your life, or experienced loss in general? You are not alone. Finding connection and community with others who are experiencing the same feelings can help offer support, encouragement, and strength when you need it the most.
What to expect:
- A small peer group with space created to share your experiences of grief and learn from others.
- A brief mindfulness exercise will be included in the beginning or end of our group.
- A safe place to find support, compassion, connection, and acceptance.
This support group is led by Iris Tichenor, MSW Intern.
About Iris: My approach is holistic and grounded in openness and positivity. I am a graduate student at Portland State University working towards a master’s degree in social work with a focus on clinical practice with individuals who have experienced trauma. I have worked beside individuals who have experienced trauma, addiction, loss, and houselessness.
